Reading is an integral part of human life, and reading is becoming a newkind of cognitive way with the development of modern digital technol-ogy.Different from the traditional paper-based reading, digital reading is loadinformation by digital technology. The characteristics of digital reading is:openness reading environment、 interactive reading process、 reading contentdiversity、 reading text large capacity、 the fragmentation of reading processand hypertext reading. Although the digital reading gradually become a kindof reading style, but people know it is still no better than reading the paper,and the management is also not very standard. Digital reading is like adouble-edged sword, on the one hand to provide students with huge amountsof information to broaden the junior middle school students’ knowledge, isbeneficial to the student individuality development.But on the other hand,there are many bad information of temptation, is not conducive to students’physical and mental health development.This article discusses six chapters of digital reading. According to juniorhigh school students as the research subject, and through the questionnairesurvey to learn the students’ reading attitude, the students’ reading content,attitude of the parents and the teachers, and the influence of digitalreading. On the basis of the investigation focused on digital readinginfluence of junior middle school students. The most important thing is tofind out the problems of students’ reading, and solution it.
