Nowadays the increasingly fierce basketball games with more and moreornamental value. It’s owned to the improvement of the antagonism of basketball match.The CBA that we are familiar with began to implement the “3+2”foreign aid system.NBA expanded limit area. In the2010, basketball game’s made the new regulation thatliniment of the area of reasonable collision, expanding of the three branch which theseries of phenomena above show that basketball game are encouraging the reasonableantagonism of bodies. If players want to get advantage in the match, the need for greaterbreakthroughs of players’ physical quality, especially the need for players’ quality ofstrength is necessary. The athletes’ physical quality is good or bad, body’s confrontationability is strong or weak, athletes’ level competitive ability is high or low is closelybound up with the strength quality. Strength quality must be one of the decisive factors.Core strength is derived from core stability, derived from a concept. It’s a procedure ofcreating, passing and controlling, reflecting its functional role. The core strengthtraining is not just the simple training as the training of waist and abdomen strength,which is called as functional training and was first applied to the clinical rehabilitationtherapy.In recent years, it is refined to the area of athletes physical strength training ofcompetitive sports. But most of the high-level basketball teams still using the traditionaltraining strategies, which occupying a large percentage in the whole physical qualitytraining.In this paper, for the sake of implement of the core strength training to high-levelcollege women basketball team, the author contrasts the control methods, means andeffectiveness of traditional strength training, reflecting the value of the core strengthtraining to practice, strengthening the core strength training’s actual practice ofhigh-level college women basketball team. By reviewing the relevant literature and summarizing in detail, investigating the training condition of high-level college womenbasketball team, experiencing the real strength training, the author mainly uses themethod of experiment study on the Sichuan Normal University women’s basketballteam. The research object is composed of16high level basketball players, who weredivided into the core strength training and traditional strength training group randomly,Each group has eight people. The16athletes will through the physical ability indextesting before the proceeding of the experiment about one week ago.,The process of theexperiment is strictly controlled to reduce the influence of other factors. After eightweeks of experiment training, participants take another test on their physical fitness andcapability, and the change of their physical condition is analysed. According to theresults that the data of experiment of16athletes shows increased significantly. Incontrast, the increase of8experimental groups obviously preceded that of control group.On the basis of the current strength state of high-level basketball team of high-levelcollege women basketball athletes, the experimental scheme is to meet athletes’ currentdemand, improve the deficiencies of traditional strength training, and provide powerfulempirical evidence for the future training courses of high-level college womenbasketball team. Through the analysis of comparative data and empirical study, there areconclusions below:1.Strength training increases the physical quality of the high-level college womenbasketball players in the overall, laying the foundation for the improvement of athletes’other quality of body.2.Core strength training group showed its advantage in the experiment. Theimprovement of nature of strength quality brings along the growth of other physicalquality, taking the whole quality of athletes into account more comprehensively.3.Core strength training is a mainstay of the basketball player’s basic technicalmovement to promote and complement the strength quality of basketball, athletes willachieve special action skills and that also can prevent the occurrence of sports injury inbasketball effectively.
