In China, Physical education is an important part of basiceducational curriculum. Besides, the reform of physical education is also vital to basiceducational curriculum. After the implement of Physical Education and HealthCurriculum Standard (Experimental version), the implement of Physical Educationand Health Curriculum Standard (2011) is the most important educational reformativeaction. Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standard (2011) obeys the rules ofcurriculum standard, meanwhile, it also pays attention to combine tradition andmodernity together. It is the great achievement for all experts who revise theCurriculum Standard. It reflects the suggestions of Physical field for the reform ofPhysical education. In addition, it also points out the direction of Physical reform.Therefore, it is an important material for analyzing and predicting the development ofPhysical reform. At last, Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standard (2011)reflects the requirements of our nation. It is a vital material for the development ofPhysical education.With the guidance of The Standards of Compulsory Education in Sports andHealth Curriculum (2011Edition), the material of physical eduction and health isselected, which is reversely the essence of the Standards. Besides, contents of theteaching material are the symbole of realizing the adoption ofstandard of physical education and health curriculum, which also show the function ofthe standard of physical education and health curriculum. However, it has been twoyears since The Standards of Compulsory Education in Sports and Health Curriculum(2011Edition) was implemented. But there are still some questions remaining to besolved. Firstly, what do the compulsory schools think of the new standard? Secondly,whether its essence is applied to guiding the local physical eduction and health curricula? And if they do, what’s the degree? Do they have some difficulties whenadopting the standards? And what are these troubles? Furtheremore, there is still aproblem worth pondering. That is to say, how to make the practical teaching conditionand material be suitable for law of physical growth and development, feature of minddevelopment, individual interest and needs with the guidance of The Standards ofCompulsory Education in Sports and Health Curriculum (2011Edition). The adoptioncan help students at different levels to balance their activity participation, sportingskills, physical and mental health.Based on the current situation, the present study is designed to find out that thesuccess of physical education curricula reform depends on the implement of itscontents. In addition, all the achievemnets and problems during the10-year nationalreform of physical education curricula will be stressed and analyzed. Therefore,10compulsory schools of Longquan district in Chengdu are choosen to be sample. Inorder to know the implement of physical education and health curricula, investigationand interview are used in the study. Futhermore, by doing this study, the author wantsto understand real situation of implement of physical eduaction and health curriculacontents in compulsory schools, to explor the relatively current achivement andanalyze causes of current problrms. What’s more, the study is also expected tocontribute to making support for realizing the function of physical education andhealth curriculum in compulsory education as well as offering useful experience orinformantion to the implement of standars of physical education and health.
