Vocational education plays an important role in the whole social educationsystem. But generally, there are some problems in the quality of vocationaleducation. On one hand, some vocational students do’nt have good learninghabits, so that they have difficulties in learning. What,s more, those students areweak in learning initiative and enthusiasm. And they don’t have strong learningobjectives. On the other h’and, the teachers teaching methods are unsuitable tothe characteristics of secondary vocational school students.Project Teaching Approach breaks through the traditional ’^teacher-centered"teaching mode, putting the learning initiative into students’ hands. Meanwhile,the teaching objectives of the Project Teaching Approach are no longer merely toimpart knowledge as traditional teaching methods, instead, this new teachingapproach pays more attention to improving the students’ abilities in variousaspects.In recent years, the author has been introducing the Project TeachingApproach into the teaching practice of Chinese course in a secondary vocationalschool. And it shows that the approach is beneficial to arouse the students’learning interest and improve their comprehensive language application abilitiesin "Listening, speaking, reading and writi’,ng. What’s more,it can also greatlyprom’ote the students development in some professional generic capabilities ofverbal expression, cooperation and innovation. This paper is a summary of the practice.This paper consists of four parts. The second chapter analyzes the currentsituation of Chinese comprehensive practice course in secondary vocationalschool. From the aspects of students and teachers, this chapter points out theproblems of current Chinese comprehensive practice course in secondaryvocational school. It is also the feasibility exploration and analysis of ProjectTeaching Approach in Chinese comprehensive practice course of secondaryvocational school. Combined with the features of the students’ major, a designscheme about Chinese comprehensive practice course of secondary vocationalschool will be showed in the third chapter. In this design scheme, the author willintroduce the Project Teaching Approach into the practice course. The fourthchapter is about the specific implementation, improvement methods and effectsanalysis of the teaching experiment.
