Now that our country has put more emphasis on secondary occupationeducation in recent years, secondary vocational education is becoming more andmore important in social development with the expanding scale. However, withthe development and reform of secondary vocational education, new professional,new curriculum, new content, new method, new technology constantly emerging,It is difficult to adapt teachers’ original knowledge structure and teaching methodto the rapid development of vocational education. Besides, considering teachersdifferent background, the existing level of education can no longer fill therequirement of occupation technical school education under the new situation.Secondary vocational school education is now faced with new challenges becauseof the declining students quality in secondary vocational school, which wascaused by the expansion of college enrollment and the craze for high-school.Based on the writer’s working background and related literatures, this essaytakes A school, a state-level key occupation school recognized by the nationalMinistry of education, as the research object. Beginning with the concept ofeducation theory, this essay will be divided into three parts, i.e. education theory,the combination of education theory with teaching ability, the consciousness andthe ability of inheritance and innovation. We measure the vocational educationaltheoretical attainment levels of A school with the help of index system. Weanalyze and compare teachers’ theoretical attainment ranging from teaching years, graduate school to education level, so that we explore ways to improve thequality of secondary vocational teachers’ theoretical quality of education.The whole essay is divided into four parts.The first chapter introduces the reason of choosing this thesis, researchsignificance, research methods and research findings in related fields both athome and abroad. The second chapter is about the definition of vocationaleducational theoretical attainment, the stratified analysis of the concept and thestarting point for research. The third chapter takes the A school in Shanghai as anexample. We carry out in-depth research analysis of secondary vocational schoolteachers in A school by building the index system. Based on the previous analysis,the fourth chapter aims at exploring ways to improve teachers’ theoretical qualityof education and provide reference for other secondary vocational schoolteachers’ training and the reform of education.
