In the context of the social transformation, large-scale of migration which was gradual developed from individual to family occurred since1980s. As a result, groups of immigrant teenagers appeared in cities. Adolescence is specific for teenagers both in physical and mental development. In this stage, they have to face the change in their body and inner world, as well as the challenge of integrating into the social life. Thus, this investigation was aimed to find out some practical methods to help the immigrant youths better integrated into society through professional social working theories and skills. On the other hand, the feasibility of the relevant theories could be inspected in the procedure of our service, which might be further developed into a relatively completed service program in refer to the social work profession and provided valuable information in improving migrant teenagers integrated into our society.This study focused on the migrant teenagers came from a civilian-run school in Wuhua Destrict, Kunming. The related data were collected through literature, observation and interview methods and the general needs of these groups of people were analyzed before the service was carried out. The developmental group work together with the project in the form of the basketball interested team were the main approaches of the service operation, whose overall goal was to promote the youth integrate into social life better. Seven theme group tasks were carried out in this research:"get to know you and me","I’m great","basketball camp","you are my partner","the test of growth","home with kids" and "graduation imagination". By involving themselves into these tasks, students could easily enhance their confidence, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and lead off their negative feelings preventing them from completing the social behavior. Therefore, they can make themselves in the society homey.
