In the wake of further urbanization in China, urban school enrollment hasincreased rapidly, so as their faculty sizes.Quick development of newly recruitedteachers becomes an important task of the schools with the expansion of their facultysizes.This dissertation makes a tracking study on some new teachers in ChongqingForeign Language School, explores and analyses the current problems in the guidanceof professional development of new teachers, and proposes possible solutions.Thestudy is composed of five parts. Part1is the introduction, which explains theselection of the topic, its significance, and related literature.art2is a deep exploration,in the form of questionnaires and interviews, of the current problems in the guidance ofprofessional development of new teachers. In Part3, the author consolidates thesurvey results in Part2and analyses current problems and root causes existed in theguidance of new teachers.In Part4, the author proposes solutions for the aboveproblems and conducts a further empirical study of the combination of institutionalimprovement and individualized guidance.Part5is the conclusion....
