[Abstract] Objective:Use the method of literature to summarize the results of related research about the "Choking" phenomenon of athletes in sports psychology field. In view of the existing problems in previous studies, this paper attempts to take archery athletes in Taiwan Sport University as the research object and to explore the effect that the music relaxation has on the intervention of "choking" phenomenon of archery athletes, which aims to help the athletes and coaches ease or eliminate the "Choking" phenomenon and to provide methodological support. Methods:The scene of game live was designed for the study and research,15archery athletes of Taiwan Sports University were assigned randomly into groups, the experimental group (N=7) in the game was intervened by music while the control group (N=8) was without intervention,(low pressure and high pressure) Test the pressure validity of archery athletes on the basis of setting stress situation and then make a research by using the music to relax as the intervention method. Use the "CSAI-2" competition-state anxiety questionnaire to test two groups of cognitive-state anxiety, somatic-state anxiety before and after the experiment test and make statistic analysis on the score. Results:In the pressure efficiency aspect, there is significant difference of the experimental group in cognitive-state anxiety, somatic-state anxiety and score during the competition before and after the experiment (cognitive dimensions:t=-9.24, p=0.00<0.01; body dimensions:t=-7.13, p=0.00<0.01; Score:t=5.95, p=0.01<0.05); There is no difference of control group in cognitive-state anxiety, somatic-state anxiety and score(cognitive anxiety:t=-2.76, p=0.69> 0.05; somatic anxiety t=0.31, p=0.76>0.05; score of t=1.41, p=0.21>0.05). In athletes homogeneity aspect, there is no significant difference in cognitive-state anxiety, somatic-state anxiety and score between the experimental group and the control group (cognitive dimensions:t=-1.13, p=0.28>0.05; body dimensions:t=0.35, p=0.73>0.05; Score:t=0.27, p=0.79>0.05). In intervention effect aspect, there is significant change in cognitive-state anxiety, somatic-state anxiety score of the control group in formally audition state(cognitive dimensions:t=-2.76, p=0.03<0.05; body dimensions:t=-2.88, p=0.02<0.05; Score:t=2.08, p=0.04<0.05);while there is no significant difference in cognitive-state anxiety, somatic-state anxiety and score of the experiment group before and after the intervention.(cognitive anxiety: t=0.80, p=0.46>0.05; somatic anxiety t=-1.00, p=0.36>0.05; score of t=-0.51, p=0.63>0.05).Conclusions:1, High pressure situation which sets on the basis of pre-experimental pressure is with ecological validity and is in accord with requirements of the "Choking" phenomenon;2, The music relaxation which can relieve or eliminate the "Choking" phenomenon of archery athletes in Taiwan Sports University can be used as an effective method of intervening the "Choking" phenomenon of archery athletes.
