The word "Choking" first appeared in the medical field, meaning "cracking, suffocating,or suffocating." In the field of sports, the "Choking" phenomenon refers to the phenomenon that a customary exercise process decays. The "Choking" phenomenon is currently a hot topic in the field of sports psychology.Foreign studies have been earlier, and domestic research has gradually increased in recent years.Among them,Wang Jin,Sun Baoli and other scholars are the main representatives in this field, but the theoretical system still Constantly improving. The“Choking” phenomenon runs through the entire sports program.Among them,in the tennis sports program, not only will it appear in high-level athletes, but also in the college tennis special student group.According to the relevant theory of "Choking" and previous studies, this paper uses the literature data method, questionnaire survey method, experimental method, interview method, etc.,and takes the experimental students of college tennis as the experimental object, and conducts two sets of experimental research respectively to explore the phenomenon of "Choking".Causes and influencing factors, and seek effective mitigation measures to make recommendations.Among them: Experiment 1 adopts the single factor group design, and discusses the college tennis special students by conducting the task-oriented and self-directed questionnaire in sports, the competition state anxiety questionnaire in sports and the performance of single technical sports in high and low pressure situations.Whether there will be a “Choking” phenomenon under high-stress situations, and analyze the influencing factors. It is concluded that 70% of students have a decreasein athletic performance in high-pressure situations compared with athletic performance in low-pressure situations, that is,“Choking”.It was found that “Choking” was significantly positively correlated with the state anxiety process and significantly negatively correlated with the target orientation. That is,the higher the state anxiety, the more likely it is to cause "Choking",and the task goal orientation can effectively alleviate the "Choking" phenomenon to some extent;there is no correlation between gender and "Choking".In the second experiment, the single factor group design was used to conduct group experiment research on 21 students who had the “Choking”phenomenon in experiment 1.There was no intervention in group A,task-oriented intervention in group B,and emotional orientation intervention in group C to explore different intervention methods. The influence of "Choking" on college tennis special students. The results showed that under the high-pressure situation, the experimental task-oriented intervention group and the experimental emotional-oriented intervention group had better results than the non-intervention group, indicating that task-oriented and emotional-oriented intervention can play a certain mitigation effect on the “Choking” under the high-stress situation of the special students; There was no significant difference in the scores between the targeted intervention group B and the affective intervention group C,that is,the mechanism of task orientation and emotional orientation intervention tend to be similar.
