The project of balanced development of the compulsory education in county territorybrings hope to balance education inequities between regions、between urban and rural、andbetween schools. But educational equity be neglected in the compulsory education schools.On the basis of previous research, author defines the connotation and denotation of schooleducational equity, the connotation of school education is that each student could get thequality education that suited to their personality development and the resources could berational distributed and rational used simultaneously in a school. The denotation of the schooleducational equity contains allocation equally of school educational resources, the fair ofteacher-student interaction and teaching process, the fair of educational evaluation and the fairof educational outcomes.The author research the status of school educational equity from five junior high schoolsin Haikou through questionnaire and interview. The survey result shows that there are manyinequities exist in allocation of school educational resources, the teacher-student interactionand teaching process, the educational evaluation and the educational outcomes. The maincauses of inequities in school education are that ignoring the configuration and using ofindividualized educational resources, educational resources are scarce, unable to meet theneeds of all students; the way choose teacher to training unreasonable, widening the gapbetween the level of teachers; the manager fair idea; the idea of educational fairness is weakamong teachers, poor social atmosphere prevails on campus; traditional education lack ofindividuation; academic evaluation tools unscientific; the process of Comprehensive qualityevaluation lack of effective management; school emphasis on outstanding students, ignorethe value of the rest of the students; graduation guidance be lacked and so on.. The authorproposes strategies to promote educational fairness in schools: increase investments ineducation; regulate the use of teaching equipment, make it play its role in promoting fairnessin education; regulate the use of variety resources of courses, create conditions for thedevelopment of students’ personality; send teacher to training layered, promote equality ofteacher resources; establish educational fair idea of managers; enhance teacher ethics thatteachers could treat for students fairly; construct ecological classroom; construct optional class system of individualized education model; constructing value-added Evaluation;importance comprehensive quality evaluation; maintaining a healthy concept of talent;conducting vocational education seminars regularly; conducting graduation guidance forstudents; implement students’ career planning.
