Study On The Pension Problem Of City Empty Nesters By The Intervention Of Social Work

Along with the aging of the population， family size miniaturization， there aremore and more empty nesters. How to provide for the aged empty nesters has becomean issue of common concern to society. On the one hand， the elderly care demandincreases， shows that the need to take care of the elderly population increases. Theelderly， especially the increase of empty-nesters makes the care of demand grows.Furthermore， with the development and progress of the society， the need of theelderly is no longer limited to the level of basic life care， also extends to spiritualsolace， cultural entertainment， and social communication， etc. For empty-nesters，their children don’t live with them， their need for life care and spiritual comfort andsocial interaction is more strongly. On the other hand， services we provide for theempty nest elderly are far from enough. As vulnerable groups in the elderly， theempty nesters’ social support condition is not optimistic. In the present situation offamily endowment weakening，the condition of insufficient social endowment，howto enhance empty-nesters social support， let them happily spend old age has becomea concern of the whole society.The author analyzes the empty nesters’ life through the specific case. The thesisis mainly divided into the following five parts：The introduction part elaborated theresearch background， significance， research status at home and abroad and theresearch methods.The first chapter is to define the concept， elaborate the city emptynester relevant theories of social demand， which laid a theoretical basis for the studyof the paper.The second chapter analyzes the city empty nester in economy， life careand spiritual comfort from three aspects of endowment situation and make a needsassessment.The third chapter analyzes the specific case of empty-nest elderly， fromthe perspective of social work intervention to the implementation of the case，described the professional approach of case implementation process and theevaluation process of the implementation of case.The fourth chapter puts forwardrelevant countermeasure thought under the perspective of social work，through theanalysis of the case.In turn， the author hopes to call for the whole society to care forempty nesters， integrate the resources， which can solve a lot of problems for them，alleviate their old age of loneliness， let empty-nesters not hollow， spent a happy oldage.
