With the constantly deepening of higher vocational colleges educationreform in our country, substance of higher vocational colleges not only providedschools a rare opportunities,but also proposed the new challenge for sportsmanagement of school at the same time. As a local public merger mode in highervocational colleges, Xiangxi national vocational and technical college has its certainrepresentativeness. It provide a certain referencefor the future development of the sportsmanagement, and also has practical value in process of sports management in highervocational colleges. to adjust, merger for, for higher vocational colleges has studythe sports management present situation, xiangxi national vocational and technicalinstitute, at the same time type of merger integration in in the process of sportsmanagement practicePapers use the sports management status of xiangxi ethnic vocational and technicalcollege as its researching object. From using literature study, expert interview, test andlogical reasoning and many other research methods, the paper research the concept,organization, operation mechanism and management methods of sports managementafter college merged, and analyzes the problems in the development process.The results showed that:1, colleges make "people-oriented, healthy first" as theirguiding ideology for the sports management. School sports management base on thebasic course, which consists of physical education teaching and research section. Sportsmanagement system has three levels including school’s joint conference, basic coursemanagement and sports management department mechanism. Existing sportsmanagement system construction involves teachers, physical education curriculum,sports manager and sports equipment system.2, College has not set sports elective course for the required phase of the seniorstudents. Teaching goal setting of schools are lack of professional developmentgoals.The course type system does not set professional physical training course, andsome parts of the course is too traditional to adjust to the students’ need, which is agingtrend, and lack of professional fitness content. Physical examination content also lack oftheoretical knowledge and sunlight sports activities assessment grades. And the sportsfacilities and equipments are difficult to meet the actual demand.3, college extracurricular physical training system is not sound, school only set asmall amount of sports club activities for students, and no sports team training work.4, The age of PE teachers in school has a large range,mainly are sports magergratuated,and no senior technical titles.Also, the assistant teachers are more than halfcontern.which makes structure imbalance. And Scientific research abilities areweak,social service function is limited,and often own small influence.5, Some drawbacks after the merged in college sports management mainly include: unstabled staff thought, manager’s ability problems, sports curriculate aim setting,teachers’researching ability,play ground setting, and etc.Therefore, here is my suggestion:we should have unified ideological understanding, improve the sense of identity; Make comprehensive physical education curriculum reform, change the name "sports and health course" into "physical education and professional fitness course", reconstruct the physical education curriculum aim positioning, increase the professional fitness training (professional practical sports) teaching modules, updating the teaching contents, reform the curriculum evaluation mechanism; Take effective measures to cultivate the scientific research and social service ability; Actively strive for policy, improve the venues and equipment facilities; improve the sunlight sportssystem to promote the construction of campus sports culture.
