With the development of information society, learning concepts and styles also change. As we all know that changing the way of learning has very important practical significant to cultivate innovative talents. In recent years, the speed of updating knowledge is accelerating and the teaching scale is expanding too. Thus, for learners, they desperately need this kind of learning-anytime, anywhere and flexible to get the knowledge according to their own conditions. A new way of learning quietly born, that is Mobile Learning. With high efficiency, convenience, personalization, breadth, and many other features, m-learning helps learners learning at anytime, anywhere. Existing mobile terminal is variety, easy to use and developing rapidly. The development of the mobile terminal led to the emergence of the mobile learning, Platform for mobile learning resources design and development, however, is less, and there are some defects, so optimization platform for the design and development of resources become a very important research subject.First, the author analyzed the Sakai’s characteristics and its application in mobile learning features and advantages based on existing research literature study method. Sakai has many advantages, such as unique architecture, good system compatibility, and open development mechanism, compatible with a variety of mobile devices and so on. It is particularly worth mentioning is that; Sakai has a powerful tool for curriculum. This provides good conditions for the design and development of mobile learning resources.This article describes the characteristics and advantages of Sakai. The author designed a questionnaire survey about the290education graduates. According to the analysis, the author designed suitable resources for m-learning. Then the author expands the research work in connection with development issues. Meanwhile the author tries to improve these learning resources in the practice of improving. Firstly, the author analyzes the characteristics of Sakai; as well as its features and benefits in m-learning. Sakai has simple and clear interface, convenient operation navigation and powerful design tools. These make it ideal for mobile learning resources’designing and developing. Secondly, the author designed a questionnaire survey about the on-the-job graduates, which focuses on the needs of m-learning resources. Through the survey we find that:Most learners have the basic conditions of m-learning; They expect to learn by using m-learning resources; These learners have different m-learning environment; The time that learners learn a knowledge is very suitable for m-learning; Learners like these learning resources with many forms of organization, clear navigation, easy interaction and so on. Based on characteristics of Sakai and the analysis, the author concludes the basic model of m-learning resources by Sakai platform. Also, she designe and develop m-learning curriculum resources on the "integrating information technology into curriculum".After that the author invite290on-the-job graduates to use these resources. Through the practice she find that:most learners are considered that m-learning resources by Sakai platform are very suitable for mobile learning; It can effectively carry out mobile learning; It supports timely communication and feedback; Also it can improve the efficiency of learning. In a word, m-learning resources by Sakai platform are very effective mobile learning resources. This dissertation consists of six parts:Chapter one is an introduction, it introduces the research background and purpose, significance, commentary, the main content of the study, the research process and methods.Chapter two is m-learning resources designed theory based on Sakai platform, including Unicom theory, situated cognition and learning theory, informal learning theory, learning theory activities.Chapter three is the analysis of m-learning resource needs. It focuses on the design of the questionnaire, the analysis of the survey results, the summarizing of the findings; It also survey which mobile devices learners often use, which factors may affect m-learning, the learners’m-learning habits, attitude, resource preferences, cognitive for Sakai and so on. These findings lay the foundation for later design and developing of m-learning resources by Sakai platform.Chapter four is analyzing the Sakai’s characteristics and the design model of m-learning resources, It means that on the basis of needs analysis in the third chapter, analyzes the Sakai’s characteristics, then take the course "integrating information technology into curriculum" for example to design and develop m-learning resources. The design mode includes preliminary analysis, overall framework design, resources media selection, interactive design, development and integration of resources and so on.Chapter five is a case about the design of m-learning resources by Sakai platform. The author displays the curriculum resources "integrating information technology into curriculum" on four modules:courses building, resources sharing, exchange and cooperation, evaluation and feedback.Chapter six is summary and outlook. This chapter is the summary of the work being done by the author in this study. Meanwhile, for some deficiencies, they will also be improved in subsequent studies.
