Gymnastics is one of the best sports in our country, gymnastics have beenoccupied an important position in school physical education. With the development ofsome emerging sports project, some of the large influx of new sports, gymnasticsdevelopment has been impact of school education, especially in primary andsecondary schools, teaching gymnastics is relatively isolated, some schools evendelete the gymnastics teaching.According to “compulsory physical education and health curriculum standards”requirements for teaching, play the function of the gymnastics teaching, to improvethe quality of teaching is of great significance. Therefore, it is necessary according tothe current status of teaching gymnastics, summary of factors affect the conduct ofteaching gymnastics, and reconstruct gymnastics teaching content. In the process ofteaching, reinforce students and parents to understand the importance of teachinggymnastics, response New Curriculum Standards, so that teaching gymnastics to playits due role in promoting the overall development of students’ physical and mental.This article uses the literature material law, questionnaire survey method,interviews, consultation and data processing method, logical analysis, to investigateand analysis the Shenzhen Yantian District10parts of the primary schools gymnasticsteaching status, draw the following conclusions:1. Under the New Curriculum gymnastics teaching in primary schools isnecessity to carry out:(1) under the New Curriculum for repositioning gymnasticsprograms;(2) for students and parents to understand and acceptable levels ofgymnastics.2.Under the New Curriculum in Shenzhen Yantian District, the status of primaryschools Gymnastics Teaching is:(1) for the gymnastics specified content in newcurriculum, the implementation of proportion is eight schools in more than60%, twoschools in more than30%;(2) sports equipment with basic facilities to ensure theneeds of teaching, but horizontal bar, ribs, flat ladder, etc instruments in addition tothe lack of focus on schools, equipment utilization is low;(3) low of the gymnasticteacher ratio in primary schools PE teachers structure;(4) elementary schoolsgymnastics curriculum select on basic gymnastics, a small amount selectiontechniques and mat sports, gymnastics equipment rarely involved.3. Factors affecting primary schools gymnastics teaching undertaken inShenzhen Yantian District:(1) students and parents know gymnastics deviation;(2)less of gymnastics venue equipment;(3) Selection and choice of Gymnastics teachingcontent;(4) teaching methods optional;(5) students’ psychological barriers.4. Factors affecting the primary schools choice of gymnastics teaching content inShenzhen Yantian District:(1) the quality of venues and facilities;(2) security issues;(3) professional skill level of physical education teachers.5. Under the New Curriculum in Shenzhen Yantian District, build of elementaryschools physical education curriculum content of gymnastics teaching:(1)development of gymnastics teaching objectives;(2) the selection and arrangement ofteaching content;(3) allocation of teaching hours and teaching academic content;(4) development of hours gymnastics teaching programs and case.
