Urban family education is the production of continual development of civicservice and the expansion of it’s fields. Caseworker’s Carrying out family educationalactivities can effectively integrated the communities’ human and materialresources,and it also can provide services for families under the support ofcommunity and promote the community harmoney.With the questionnaire survey on family education in community as well asunstructured interview, explored the current situation and existing problems of familyeducation. What’s more, under the guild of theories related to social work.the authormade a case analysis on the group work of urban community education. As thedesigner and developer of group activities, the author got involved into the familieseducational services in urban community and used professional skill and methods tochange residents’ traditional view and methods about education.Via case analysis and study, reflections are made in regard to practice of groupwork involving family education in city:Firstly, reflections are made in terms ofinvolving superiority and existing matters and effective improvement measures areproposed.Secondly, a comparison is made in practice among group work、 singlecase and community working method in the matter of involving family education.And above-mentioned three working methods are combined so that the efficiency ofthe social work and professional service and level could be improved andenhanced.Finally, via reflection in the aspect of related theory, rationality anddeficiency are analyzed with respect to the option of theoretical basis during familywork and activity. In the meanwhile, supplements are put forward.It is expected thatthese reflections are able to carry out professional services in the aspect of groupeducation and provide discussions and references.By means of practice, conclusionscould be drawn that, involving team work into group education in the city shalleffectively change parents’ traditional education concept, build a better familyatmosphere, and enrich the social work service content and field, promote thedevelopment of specialization, professionalization of social work as well.
