The teaching of reading is an important part of language teaching, languageteaching in high school, the prose is a stylistic selected text largest, occupies animportant position in Chinese teaching. Because of its wide range of topics prosewriting, writing in the form of flexible and unlike novels and argumentative essayshave arbitrary characteristics. Since the guide is now entering middle schoollanguage teaching contemporary prose, prose teaching has not formed an effective,easy to promote the teaching content sequence, and the lack of effective teachingstrategies in the teaching process that is basically in the blind state. In commonlanguage reading teaching efficiency is low, but also easier to ignore the stylisticfeatures of the prose itself, resulting in curing the problem of teaching mode. In thispaper, combined with effective teaching philosophy, theoretical researches oneffective teaching analysis, combined with contemporary prose and prose readingteaching knowledge, starting from the characteristics of language subjects appearmore characteristic of contemporary prose reading effective teaching. Combinedinterpretation of the requirements of the new curriculum standards, contemporaryprose attempts to explore effective classroom teaching strategies. The paper isdivided into four parts, the first part is the status of high school language teaching ofreading analysis, summarized the current problems of contemporary prose highschool classroom exist. The second part is an overview of the stylistic features ofcontemporary prose, prose summary of contemporary stylistic features andclassification features. The third part is a combination of domestic and internationalresearch on effective teaching, effective teaching characteristics come proposes toprepare a theoretical basis for effective teaching strategies. The fourth part is thecombination of the new curriculum standards for teaching reading requirements forthe teaching of reading contemporary prose problems from identifying appropriateteaching content, focusing on the implementation and evaluation of three angles toplay a teaching role in the teaching process, try to explore high school now Effectiveteaching of reading contemporary prose strategy.
