Research On The Profession Quality Of University Sports Teachers In Henan Province

College physical education teachers are the backbone of colleges and universities sports educationwork,are the professors of students learning and mastering scientific exercise methods, are the organizersand leaders of enhancing students’ fitness and promoting students’ overall development of their bodies andminds.Their whole qualities directly influence the level of universities sports education work.Therefore,theprofessional qualities of college physical education teachers has been a very important research.This article deeply studied college physical education teachers’ professional beliefs, educationconcepts, professional ethics, knowledge structures, ability systems and cultivations of body and mind etcby using literature method, survey method, mathematical and logical method. Through the investigationand analysis of the current situation of the Henan province public college teachers’ professional qualities, Iconclude that:1.The professional beliefs of most public college physical education teachers in Henan province arefirm, only a few young teachers’ professional beliefs are not so strong.2.Public college physical education teachers in Henan province have clear and advanced educationconcepts, which they can actively use to direct their practice.3.Public college physical education teachers in Henan province make a better performance in moralqualities and professional qualities such as patriotic and law-abiding, dedication, loving students, teachingand educating students, being models for others etc.4.In the knowledge structures of public college physical education teachers in Henan province,educational theories and pratices are strong. Professional knowledge seems strong from the whole, but stillneed to improve. Gernal knowledge are insufficient,especially computer knowledge and English knowledgeneed to enhance.5.Public college physical education teachers in Henan province have great ability in physicaleducation teaching and sports management,but their creativity and scientific research ability is weak andneed to further improved. 6.Public college physical education teachers in Henan province in general good health, capable ofsports teaching, my heart better quality, interpersonal harmony.Colleges and universities should strengthen their physical education work, make the basic standard ofgeneral colleges and universities, enhance the degree of vocational training and supervision mechanism,andset up corresponding assessment system; Physical education teachers should make efforts to improve theirprofessional qualities, conscientiously carry out the college and university teachers’ professional ethicswith realities, and deeply implement the education planning outline to comprehensively improve the qualityof higher education.
