The normal university students’teaching skills is a hot topic in teacher educationresearch,but also an important issue of common concern of the educational circles at homeand abroad. The train of normal university students teaching skills are regard as the importantlink of pre vocational education, plays a fundamental role in the formation and developmentof the teaching skills. In the basic education reform and teaching professional developmentunder the background of the times, to meet the demand for high quality and high skills ofteacher is a common problem faced by universities.In the paper, the importance of training the normal university students’teaching skills asthe starting point, selects the Henan province5universities representative as the scope of theinvestigation, the investigation method of the combination of questionnaire and interview,then the normal university students’teaching skills training situation analysis, found theexisting problems, and puts forward the suggestions on the reform of teaching skills. Thispaper is divided into the following five parts:The first part mainly introduces the research reason, research significance, researchstatus and research methods in this paper.The second part firstly defines the concept of normal university students and teachingskills, then discuss the importance of the normal university students’teaching skills in theeducation reform, teacher professional development and influence of the education quality.The third part, firstly describes the states of training situation of the normal universitystudents’teaching skills survey, and then analysis the current situation from the training ofattention degree, training methods, training effect, training problem.The fourth part, through the analysis of the current situation, summed up the mainlyproblems are the students’ seif-consciousness, teachers’teaching skills, curriculum, practicefor aspects. Finally, attribution analysis.The fifth part, training of the normal university students’teaching skills is theresponsibility of the education administrative departments, universities, schools; establishworking grope, training center, practice guidance center and then suggest the training of thenormal university students’teaching skills.
