“Teacher’s vocational skills” which occupies a quite big proportion in the whole abilities constitutions for normal university students is one of the most important career qualities of them.But because of some subjective and objective factors,normal university’s training to students is still under the ideal level,thus leading those students performance when they are starting their job is not that satisfied.As a result of this,the thesis takes the normal university’s training to students’ teacher’s vocational skills as a radiational core and analyzes the major relevent issues,so as to make some contributions to the development of the teacher’s education.The thesis applies literature consulting, questionnaire survey,observation and interviewas the research methods.The first one is to understand the core concepts sufficiently and finish the literature review conprehensively.The second one is to know the current situation of the target research point. The third one combines two parts,one is for the senior intern students and the other is for the teachers who work in the middle or primary schools and who are responsible for those intern students. The interview method can make supplement to the questionnaire and make the research result more persuasive.Starting from the obvious causes which may influence the level of normal university students’ vocational skills,the paper classifies the research points into five perspectives.They are: normal university’s students’ major awareness and attitude; the training curriculum arrangement on teacher’s vocational skills; teacher’s teaching methods in the teacher’s educational classes; the training systems in normal university and the current situation.The survey found out that,on the aspect of the first perspective, some students chose their majors passsively;some students are not loyal to their majors and are easy to get lost when they are choosing jobs;some students’ attitudes towards the skill training activities are undisciplined.They have no clear idea about the contents and the importance of the teacher’s vocational skills.Becides,a lot of students master those skills one-sided.Skills like practical writing, teacher’s mangement abilities and scientific research are scarce among normal university students. On the aspect of the second perspective,many students consider that the practice curriculums influence more on their skills than the theoretical ones. But the current curriculum number,kind and arrangement can’t meet students’ needs. Except that,the research also found out that the skill-training curriculums’ contact with the elementary education is not close. Third,as an influential aspect to students’ vocational skills, teacher’s teaching methods in the teacher’s educational classes are still traditional. Students expect more practical, applicable and comtemporary teaching methods in their university’s classes.Fourth,normal universities have many bugs on the training systems. For example,they value subjects knowledge overwhelmingly more; there are no sufficient practice platform and enough funds input; campus cultural activities are not rich; the construction of the group of teachers and the judgement system are not thorough. The interview proved that students got progressed in the vocational skills according to the internship.But the result is not as satisfies as predicted before because of the short time, hard tasks,students’ weak skill background and some irresponsible intern schools and guide teachers.Reasons causing the above phenomena can be classified as following:first,the backward inflence of the exam-oriented education and the drive force of the utilitarianism;second,the vagueness of university’s cultivation goals and the one-sidedness of university’s cultivation scheme;third,practice resources’ lackness and the operating systems’ dispersibility.The research provides problem-solving projects from two perspectives. On the one hand,what normal university could do are to make new talents cultivation goals and periodical skill-reach goals;to design curriculum system which are coherent with the above two goals;to constitute the working-together platform and to design an open cultivation model;to construct a triune management organization.On the other hand, what normal university students could do is to grasp professional knowledge and skills tightly on the basis of forging a strong career faith, so as to make a full preperation for being a quified future-teacher.
