In recent years,the employment of college graduates has become a social focus inChina. Especially, because of rapid increasing of the number of graduates andincreasingly severe employment situation due to financial crisis. In academia, manyscholars carried out a detailed study of the factors of the difficult employment of collegegraduates from different angles, for example, the number and structure of labor demandand supply, the Chinese education system, and the differences between inhuman capitaland social capital. This study focused on the discovery and clarification of the specificimpact of of social capital on quality of graduate employment, in order to find out thepath to improving the quality of graduate employment from the perspective of socialcapital of universities.In this study, firstly, we will study social capital theory and its relationship to theemployment of graduates, and explore the impact of social capital on employmentquality of graduate employment.Secondly, we will find out essential factors of effect ongraduate employment through case studies of domestic and foreign universities. Finally,by analyzing the relationship between universities social capital and the quality ofgraduate employment, we get the following conclusions: universities social capital have amajor impact on the quality of graduate employment from these aspects such asemployment rate, salary level, work environment and job stability. A university havingmore social capital will have higher quality of graduate employment.The main research methods of this thesis include Literature research, case analysisand factor analysis.
