A Study On College Students’ Ecological Morality Education

As is known to all, our country’s ecological crisis has been a serious threat to people’ssurvival and life. It concentrates expressions of the serious shortage of freshwater resources,the pollution of rivers and lakes, the emergency of the cultivated land, the desertification ofthe land, the raging sandstorm, the smog of the city, the growing depletion of resources, thesteadily worsening of ecological environment and so on. If the entire ecosystem also can notget favorable care and love, the people’s right to survival. will be deprived quietly.We humansare not the master of the earth but merely one part of the nature’s food chain. Our relationshipwith nature stands or falls together. As the main group and the object of eco-moraleducation, the eco-moral quality of college students has a direct influence on measuring theeco-moral level of the whole country. The eco-moral education of college students is not onlybeneficial to develop their eco-moral qualities, but also conductive to improve their moralpersonalities. Therefore, it’s an important issue for scholars to research on eco-moraleducation of college students. In recent years, by the scholars’ explorations and researches onthe moral education, students’ moral accomplishments have increased obviously, which makesthe education taken effect. Based on the research of scholars, this paper tries to further explorethe eco-moral education of college students and help to improve the effectiveness of it.This paper analyzes the eco-moral education of college students from the following threeparts.In Chapter One, the author mainly discusses the theory of eco-moral education forcollege students., in which some related concepts are defined and the significance ofeco-environment protection is expounded.In Chapter Two, the author puts forward some existing problems and the reasons byanalyzing the situation of college students’ eco-moral education.In Chapter Three, the author analyzes the eco-moral education of college students inpractice and some countermeasures are put forward for reference.Based on quantities of academic monographs, periodicals, academic dissertations,newspapers and other document literatures, the author interprets the eco-moral education ofcollege students in practice and theory, which provides a new idea for researching on thecollege students’ eco-moral education.
