With the continuous development of social work, as an extension of the social work in the hospital internal, clinical social work has entered the start and infancy. In December2003, Shanghai held the "senior seminar of clinical social work", in which points out that Shanghai will work to include clinical social work in the medical field, as the fourth class after the doctors, nurses, medical and health field. For the construction of a harmonious hospital, harmonious doctor-patient relationship, the Shanghai health bureau issued news that more than500hospitals in Shanghai will comprehensively promote the clinical social worker and hospital volunteer work in February2011. Clinical social workers is the direct undertaker of the effect of clinical social work service, is a tower of strength to promote the development of clinical social work. Their professional identity directly affects the quality of the clinical social work services, and also influences the specialization, professionalization of clinical social work.In order to know the professional identity status of clinical social workers in Shanghai and its influencing factors, so as to put forward reasonable Suggestions for promoting the clinical social workers’professional identity and promoting the professionalization and standardization of clinical social work, this study adopts the method of qualitative research, in which choses seven clinical social workers in Shanghai as interviewers in case depth interview, and then analyzes their professional identity status and its influencing factors. Finally, according to the consequences of the study, the researcher puts forward suggestions for promoting the professional identification of clinical social workers and pushing the professionalization and standardization of clinical social work from two aspects, clinical social workers themselves and the external environment to work.
