The employment of college graduates has become one of the hot, difficult problems inChina’s economic and social development, and the private undergraduate collegegraduates’ employment situation also caused great attention in the community.The biggestadvantages or features of the private universities is that they can follow the employmentmechanism of the market flexibly, but this years, limited by the public universities and thetraditional education mode, they tend to like the public universities, and the privatecolleges are mare than that.Whether the profession settings, the teaching materials or thestudent training mode, the private colleges especially the private university ignoregradually their own audience and limitation of school running, they blindly close to thepublic colleges and universities.It is not difficult to see, in recent years many domesticprivate universities live hardly between the crevice of the public and higher vocationalcolleges, they have hard situation which is difficult to come across in the students’allocation and employment.This research bases on the Marxism’s Marx’s employmenttheory, education economic theory, human capital theory and the higher education theory.It compares the general employment between Jiangxi and other provinces,between privatecolleges and public universities. Nanchang University of science and technology is theexample, with the investigation on multiple angles through questions and telephoneinterviews and other methods, it gets the current status of Jiangxi private universitygraduates employment.In this article, mainly use four private universities in Jiangxi as anexample, investigate and analyze from many angles on the employment of the privateuniversities.It takes the Nanchang Institute of Technology as the example for theemployment situation of private colleges in Jiangxi. It uses theory and practice method,finds the root cause from the comparison between the example and the private colleges inother provinces.It stands on the large background of the graduates’ employment situation,uses the professional, scientific economics which are based on the SWOT model to analyzethe private colleges graduates’ employment situation, and looks for the limitation of thegraduates’ employment market, and summarizes the impetuous mentality and unreasonableconsciousness when they face the employment, and finally find out the causes, theninvestigates deeply, then finishes the strategy research for the private colleges graduates’employment situation.The strategy can be have many angles, such as starting appliedtalents training mode reform, building and improving the graduates of private collegesemployment market mechanism, encouraging private undergraduate college graduates toset up scientific concept of employment, increasing the relevant government policy support,as well as encouraging t transformation by undergraduates themselves and so on.
