Research On Gender Equality In Mongolia

In today’s society, gender issues become a hot social concern. Fundamentally speaking,gender inequality is a problem between men and women, this problem is not just a problemthat the woman’s movement concerned to, but also the problem related with the harmoniousdevelopment of mankind. Today, the gender inequality status is still existed widely. In order tochange the situation gender of gender inequality, the western feminists began a massivewoman’s liberation movement from18th century, for fight for woman’s equal rights andinterests for centuries.The difference between men and women is just the human physiology, this differencedecided that men and women plaid the different role in society labor, there must be adifference. However, in the long term of history development process, due to the socializationand generalization this of this society labor based on physiological people had a fixed socialimpression-since for men and women. the establishment of the physiological basis of thissocial division of labor is gradually socialized and generalization. And people thought thatmen and women should be this since they are born.In this respect,people gave men andwomen different requirements and evaluation, and the different modes of development of menand women in values, moral sense, aesthetic standards and other aspects of immobilizationappeared, resulted in the acquired inequality of men and women social status, personaldevelopment. The author selected Mongolia as study object, to study the status and genderequality development in Mongolia according to the "Gender equality theory". Finally,come upwith some suitable advices correspond to the problems during the development.
