Special-post teachers in rural primary and secondary schools are a new kind ofeducator, one that has already become an integral part of rural compulsory education.Modern society is also taking an interest in these special-post teachers. Special-postpolicy which created such instructors not only put fresh blood into rural compulsoryeducation programs, but they also provide education and employment opportunitiesfor students from rural areas interested in teaching. This view is a generalization, abroad-sweeping view that does not take into accounts the specifics of this program.What does special-post teachers work entail? What kinds of daily problems do thesespecial-post teachers encounter? What is the status of their professional development?What adjustments should be made to the relevant special-post policys? Thesequestions all merit an in depth analysis by researchers and academics. It is with thesequestions that this particular study begins.The study looks into Lishu County, Jilin Province and its special-post teachersand serves as a reference for the analysis of the program in Northeastern China; thisstudy focuses specifically on the development status of such instructors. Through theuse of questionnaires, interviews, observation, and other research methods, thisresearch investigates the development process and status of special-post teachers, aswell as the problems they face. After analyzing these issues, this research proposesrelevant countermeasures and solutions.The first part of this research includes the origins of the problem, a literaturereview, definitions, research methodology, and other significant base information; thisserves as the foundation for this research. The second part details the investigationand the analysis and identifies key problems, include the special-post teachers’ basicinformation, work and life situation, special industry development status andoccupation identity status survey, and some problems are analyzed. The third part isbased on the results of the analysis of objective situation, strategy of multi angle, multi-level.
