the junior middle school texts book edited by the People’s education press agglomerates much effort of many experts and scholars, but it may not satisfy every student’s need and apply to every teaching context. So, as the leader of teaching activity, teachers need to be innovative and be creative when using the teaching materials,to promote the all-round development of students and improve teachers’ professional ability in itself. Chinese curriculum standards of junior middle school education also privates teachers rights and rooms to further explode the teaching materials.Many teachers deem stubbornly that what students should master should be what the teaching materials require and further explosions are not necessary. This kind of thought makesteachers and students worship the teaching materials and authority blindly. Initiatives and creative are losing in Chineseteaching. In such an environment, teachers fail to improve themselves and students lose the opportunities to widen their eye. As the development of science and technology and information, students can rapidly and substantially reach more information about language. This make their language system become more complex and multivariate, and their reading habitschange also. These new situations make the second explosion of the teaching material of junior middle school become necessary.The whole passage can be divided as following part:Part one: introduction. This part mainly introduce the background of thisresearch, the significance of this research,the status quo of at home and abroad as well as the method adopted in this paper.Part two: chapter two. Through the literature review, this part summarized the theory and practice of "secondary development" in domestic and abroad.Part three: chapter three: As an research angle, we found the possible problems and reason of these problems in “secondary development”, by using literature review, interview,questionnaire and observation.Part four: chapter four. In view of the problems found, puts forward the principles of Chinese textbook for secondary development.Part five: chapter five. chapter four. Based on the deficiencies in "secondary development" textbooks for junior high school of People’s Education Press, this part provide effective way to update and promote the book.
