In the1990s, the floating population flowing presented the "family" trend. The new citizen families with a special background and inherent characteristics have an inevitable impact on the construction of the family relationship.According to the policy analysis and needs assessment, we found that social work intervention in parent-child relationship of the new citizen family is necessary, and it is the innovation in the field of social work practice. This research is based on the project of "Interactive Growth, Pleasure in Sharing", using qualitative research method. It aims to explore how social work intervenes in parent-child relationship of the new citizen family and what the interventional effects are.We found the research significance of social work intervention in parent-child relationship of the new citizen family via literature analysis. Choosing family systems theory and social learning theory as the theoretical support, based on these theories, we shaped group work as the core of the intervention, and then radiated case work and community work to form integrated social work intervention, to help the new citizen family to improve parent-child relationship, to strengthen family positive energy, to inspire family potentials, and to establish a support network for the family in the community.By means of participating and tracking the implementation process through the entire project, we found the strengths and limitations of the intervention, and then put forward some development strategies that aim at the problems in the intervention for reference and learning.
