The Study Of Social Work Intervention On Parent-child Relationship In Single Parent Family

With the development of modernization,people's concept of marriage has undergone tremendous changes,the original nuclear family structure is also experiencing fission,which results in the appearance of single parent family.There exist a variety of contradictions and problems in single parent families,and these problems will bring damage to the family.In the process of practice,the author finds that most single parent families have difficulty in dealing with parent-child relationship.Parent-child relationship problems have greatly influenced harmonious family and children's healthy growth.Therefore,improving the parent-child relationship of single parent families is particularly important.Firstly,this paper introduces the background and significance of the research,and then points out the research object through the method of interview and participant observation.The single parent family and parent-child relationship were defined,meanwhile,the author reviewed relevant theory and literature,including single family,parent-child relationship,parent-child relationship in single parent family,social work intervention in parent-child relationship four aspects.Second,before carrying out this practice,the author makes full use of interview to collect information of service object and discovers some problems about parent-child relationship,such as bad parent-child communication,less parent-child communication time,single content of parent-child communication,improper way of parent-child communication and so on.According to the actual situation,the reason for this problem is poor economic condition of single family,improper education mode and concept,personality of children and low frequency of interaction with parents,pessimistic social public opinion environment.At the same time,we also know that these problems will cause some adverse consequences,including the impact of children's healthy growth and bringing pressure on family life.Based on the above analysis,the author focuses on the parent-child relationship of single parent families in J District of Nanjing and puts forward relevant countermeasures.The author conducted a case and group work intervention on the service object,through the feedback of the service object and author's observation.After the intervention,it is found that service object's problem has been improved,which indicates that the involvement of social workers has worked.In addition,the author thinks that the family,school,community and society should play roles in dealing with the problem.For the family,children should have a reasonable cognition to single family and parents must change education concept,improve their own quality,and actively communicate with their children;For the school,teachers should give children more care,pay attention to interaction with single parent,and open emotional education curriculum;For the community,we should found the voluntary service organization,promote the community service,and set up parent-child education hotline.For the society,the positive public environment should be created and the propaganda of parent-child education should be increased.We hope that we can help to solve the problem of parent-child relationship through multi cooperation.Finally,the author summarizes the full text,and discusses how to solve this problem in the long term.
