The Research On Trust Of Urban Fringe

Trust is basic to civilization of human beings that we can’t live without it. Theurban fringe between urban and rural areas is the product of Chinese urbanization.Under the background of urbanization, social trust of the urban fringe inevitablyassociated with the transformation of social and economic structure, the residents’psychological structure and the cultural structure change quietly. The author combineswith trust theory at home and abroad to investigate and analyze the urban fringe oftrust status, explore the reasons of the phenomenon, and try to find out the effectiveway to solve the problem, which has strong practical significance and theoreticalvalue. This research mainly adopts investigation method and field study method, andchooses the H village in Wuhan as a case to describe the current situation of urbanfringe residents’ trust, uses empirical materials and interview data to show the mainpart of the urban fringe residents with particularistic trust, universalistic trustdeficiency, institutional trust has not been established. The author combines with thebackground of social transformation and urbanization. That the Chinese traditionalculture, the deficiency of community volunteer groups, lack of government credibilityand a decline in credit system are the reason why the trust status of urban fringe. Bycarrying forward the traditional culture of credit, instilling the spirit of contract,establishing social credit system and restriction mechanism of the power, increase theanti-corruption efforts and foster community intermediary organizations to builduniversalistic trust and institutional trust that is important. Modern society belongs to"the stranger" society, set up a universalistic trust mechanism and institutional trustmechanism that is an effective way for urban fringe, also is our country city urban andrural integration of coordinated operation of the key factors.
