Current Problem Analysis On Rural Landscape And Solutions Of Liaocheng Based On Landscape Sociology

The rural landscape is a highly integrated combination of natural and culturalenvironment. Composed to urban landscape, the prominent features of rural landscapeare extensive land use, close integration of living and productive landscape andconspicuous effect on environment under a low population density. With rapidprogress of urban-rural integration and development of rural economy, themodernization and industrialization of agriculture have had an impact on rural landuse pattern and the quality of natural resources. The rural society, culture and ecotopehave been significantly changed while large numbers of rural surplus labors havemoved into the city to look for jobs or engaged in township enterprises or ruralservice industry. Liaocheng, situated in the western part of Shandong, is now in animportant period of strategic opportunities and in the process of fast urbanization.This thesis takes rural areas of Liaocheng as research object, reflects the prominentcontradictions in rural landscape objectively from perspectives of sociology by themethod of social surveys. And on this basis, it analyzes the situation of natural andsocial ecology in rural areas, studies the underlying reasons of problems in rurallandscape and put forward countermeasures from perspectives of landscape planning.Literatures were abundant in rural development and landscape over the years.Mostly, the problems were focused on landscape ecology, comprehensiveimprovement on rural environment and rural tourism. These researches were devotedto restoration of landscape of ecologically vulnerable areas and landscape ecologicaldesign and system analysis. However, there are less studies on the situation of rurallandscape, the dynamic mechanism and humanities ecology. The in-depth survey andanalysis on rural landscape is the key point of this research. This study has practicalimplications that it can be used as supplementary materials for literatures at presentand basic data for landscape planning. This thesis is composed of five chapters below.Chapter one is a brief introduction of related concepts, research scope and contents.Chapter two makes a case study on Liaocheng’s typical rural areas through themethod Residency, which mentioned in sociology. Chapter three studies the existingproblems of rural landscape and analyses the underlying reason. Chapter fourgenerally put forward a basic principle that rural landscape planning should bring rural society and ecological environment continues improvements based on these dateand analysis. And chapter five is for conclusion and prospected.Major Innovation:(1) This thesis integrates sociological theories in the study ofrural landscape.(2)It promotes more study on humanity, which is the most activefactor in rural landscape, embodies environmental protection and human-oriented.
