Basic education curriculum reform in Liaocheng, Shandong Province, in2004was carried out in full swing under the the guidance of the "Basic EducationCurriculum Reform" and "ordinary junior high school English curriculum standards".To investigate the status of junior high school English curriculum reform ofLiaocheng City, the author send935questionnaires which is from the perspective ofthe status of implementation of curriculum for junior high school English teachers tothe teachers and students of10schools. The investigation of the content includedseven areas of the curriculum implementation of the English teachers:curriculumimplementers, curriculum implementation goals, curriculum implementation content,curriculum embodiment, the two sides of curriculum implementation, curriculumimplementation tools and curriculum implementation evaluation methods. Throughthe survey and statistics to these seven aspects, it can describe the problems andcauses when we do the curriculum implementation through the teachers themselves,traditional culture, curriculum implementation of policies, and the evaluation systemhardware. It also give five aspects to solve the problem by enhancing participation,reforming of teacher evaluation and incentive systems teacher curriculumreform,strengthening investment in education funding.
