The Research On The Relationship Between Coping Style And Physical And Psychological Reaction

In China, because of personal privacy, cultural taboos and trauma, Sexualharassment still was between people’s sensitive topic until now. Because the peopleare sensitive to this topic, not only weakened attending to sexual harassment incommunity, and also the victims and her family dare not facing to sexual harassment.In recent years, as increasing reports of sexual harassment, sexual harassmentinvolved the department also will be increased. But there is no special department forthese individuals and families to provide effective professional services. And it is notable to minimize its damage. Eventually it is placed on the forgotten corners of society.So the exploration and research on Occupational groups’ sexual harassment canreflect the attitude on the current domestic society and victims of sexual harassment.To a large extent it may presage society and victims of sexual harassment in thedegree of concern and the caring possibility in the future. So this paper will set copingto sexual harassment as research starting point, the author attempts to carry out a morecomprehensive and systematic research on the status of coping to sexual harassmentof occupational groups in society, based on relevant theories in sociology and socialpsychology.This is a case study on university students in China,which explores variousaspects about sexual harassment of occupational groups in society by adoptingempirical approaches, such as questionnaire and combining qualitative analysis andquantitative analysis、 description analysis and explanation analysis. Based onacquisition of materials and data analysis, first the study will define sexual harassmentand coping to, and describes and analyzes the status、main features and difference ofcoping to sexual harassment; Demonstrates and analyzes the relevant factors ofcoping to sexual harassment and Physical and psychological reaction; Puts forwardsome specific social intervention strategies on how occupational groups caneffectively prevent and cope to sexual harassment, based on basic social theories, suchas social psychology、social work and so on.This paper is an empirical study based on the social theories, it is innovative interms of its perspective and approaches, which can serve as guidance for future researches.
