Ideological and political theory course is the marxism theory education of thecollege students’ system of the main channel and the cultivation of successors to thecause of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics play an irreplaceablerole. As the ideological and political theory course in colleges and universitiesteachers as the main body of ideological and political education in colleges anduniversities, is the main force to promote ideological and political education work. Atpresent, the ideological and political theory course teachers overall situation is good,constantly enrich teachers, quality improved steadily. But we must also see clearlythat, due to the social environment, subject development and its own development,and many other factors and constraints, ideological and political theory courseteachers appeared different degree of job burnout, the occurrence of occupationalburnout affects the ideological and political theory course teachers’ teaching status,lead to cannot achieve the expected teaching effect of ideological and political theory.Therefore, whether from the perspective of the concerned about teachers, students, orfrom the perspective of improving the effect of ideological and political theory, shouldactively face the problem of university ideological and political theory courseteachers’ job burnout, find out the status quo of job burnout, analysis the causes of jobburnout, figure out how to reduce the job burnout that to enhance the ideological andpolitical theory course teachers’ quality, realize the ideological and political theorycourse teachers’ self development, improve the teaching quality of ideological andpolitical theory course, improve college students’ ideological and political educationwork in the new period is of great significance.This study ideological and political theory course teachers as the research object,the integrated use of literature method, interview method, questionnaire surveymethod, Delphi expert group discussion method and other research methods, drawlessons from MBI questionnaire, developed the ideological and political theory coursein colleges and universities teachers’ job burnout questionnaire, empirical researchusing the questionnaire survey in colleges and universities thought political lesson thestatus quo of teachers’ occupational tiredness, according to the research results, fromthe individual level, school level and social level to identify causes of job burnout,and to seek effective interventions, veterinarian, prevent and solve the phenomenon ofideological and political theory course teachers’ job burnout.
