As we all known, there is a rich heritage of knowledge, advanced educationalconcepts, good teaching mode and humane management methods in OxfordUniversity. And rationalization, humane and scientific policy-making and institutionalarrangements are able to successfully develop educational foundation. Good qualityassurance policy provides a reliable guarantee to expand education and teaching atOxford University. There are internal and external education quality assurancesystems composed Oxford University education quality assurance, it’s diversified,professional, legally and balance characteristics. In this paper using literature analysis,comparative studies, case analysis, stating Oxford University education qualityassurance policy in UK and even in the Europe, promoting by the European highereducation quality assurance association, the British higher education quality assuranceagency, the impact of the Bologna process, emphatically analyzed OxfordUniversity’s admissions policy, student training policy, teaching management policyand a series of other inner education quality assurance policy, analyzing the affectingof UK higher education funding council and the British higher education qualityassurance agency for the University of Oxford and a series of other external policieseducation quality assurance. Finally, the paper introduces Oxford University’sadvanced concepts and education quality assurance policy implications for ourcountry. The key is to learn Oxford University from their education quality assurancepolicy models and success stories, learn from their advanced ideas and successfulpractices: improving teaching mentor, and strengthen targeted training for students;improving the quality of higher education assessment mechanism; constructing highereducation quality assurance systems linked to the financial allocations; enhancing thecultural spirit of the university campus, and encouraging students to innovation;establishing a "people-oriented" concept of the work, improving the service ability forstudents. In order to further enhancing the core competitiveness of our universities,improving the efficiency of higher education teaching, strengthen education andteaching quality assurance, developing a more comprehensive and efficient educationquality assurance policy, cultivating independent thinking, innovation andcomprehensive development of superior talent. This is China’s development which isnot only necessary, but also has practical significance.
