With the development of China’s reform and opening up and modernization, the numberof the private colleges grows rapidly and scale of them also expands greatly. The privatecolleges are becoming an important part of the higher education in China, and play anirreplaceable role in the acceleration of higher education. In the process of development inprivate colleges, the human resources management is of great importance. As a cradle oftalent, the quality of private higher education directly determines the quality of talents, andprivate college teachers’ quality decides the education quality they provide. So for privatecolleges, making effective, objective, fair performance evaluation to the full-time teachers,learning their actual situation at work and improving their professional ability throughtargeted performance incentives are the effective ways to improve the quality of private higheducation. However, there are many problems, which restricted the development of privatecolleges and universities, in the current performance evaluation. Based on the aboveunderstanding, this paper will bring360-degree Feedback in the business management intoprivate colleges’ full-time teachers’ performance evaluation, so as to arouse the enthusiasm ofthe teachers in private colleges and universities, and improve the their quality of teaching,and at last to improve the competitiveness of private colleges.360-degree Feedback will make a comprehensive assessment to the teachers from thedifferent aspects and then feedback the assessment results to the assessed, in order to improvetheir work performances. This paper makes a systematic analysis of360-degree Feedback,compares360-degree Feedback with other assessment methods, and points out its advantagesand disadvantages, then, analyzes the information sources of360-degree Feedback,transforms360-degree Feedback into a new evaluation system suitable for all the full-timeteachers in private colleges, such as teachers in teaching supervision department, the researchgroup leader, colleagues, students and teachers, and construct the indexes of360-degreeFeedback. By specifying the indexes in the capability assessment, teaching processassessment and result assessment, this paper defines each index and develops the appraisalcontent. Finally, this paper verifies the index system through the empirical analysis of Hcollege, and puts forward the improvement measures of360-degree Feedback methodconstructed.
