As the saying goes,“Man is not ruthless like vegetation but emotioanl”. Emotionis the lubricant and catalyst of successful teaching. If emotional factors are involvedin the teaching, it can make students learn and think with a good mood, let them havea positive emotional experience, and then enhance the teachers’ teaching efficiencyand the students’ learning effect, improve the effectiveness of moral education.At present, some worrisome problems in the moral education are seriouslyexisting in the secondary vocational schools, such as students’ lack of interest inlearning, poor teaching effect and so on. In order to change these phenomena, it is anunavoidable problem for the moral education teachers to play the main role of moraleducation teaching in training students’ ideology and morality. In my many years’teaching practice and exploration, I think that lack of emotion is an important reasonof current poor moral education effectiveness. To implement emotion teaching inmoral education requires the teachers to pay much attention on the emotional factorsin teaching process and try to exert its positive role so as to perfect the teaching goaland optimize the teaching effect.This thesis analyzes the problems existing in moral education in the secondaryvocational schools through questionnaires and demonstrates the necessity ofimplementing emotion teaching from three aspects. Firstly, emotion teaching isnaturally required in the process of moral education. Secondly, from thecharacteristics of secondary vocational schools’ students, they need emotion teachingmore. Thirdly, the moral education teachers commonly exist negative emotions.Teachers are the organizers, instructors and executors of teaching and teachers’emotional quality is the key to carry out the emotion teaching. This thesis discussesthe emotions that the teachers should have and teaching emotional skills. Moreover, itputs forward some suggestions to strengthen the emotion teaching in moral educationfrom the aspects of teaching methods, teaching materials and evaluation system. thesuggestions are as follows:(1) To optimize teaching methods;(2) To tap into theemotional factors of teaching materials;(3) To reform the evaluation system;(4) Tostrengthen teachers’ emotional intelligence and psychological quality.
