Research On Cultivating Sense Of Social Responsibility Of Contemporary Undergraduate

In China, studies on responsibility education have been for a long time. Research on cultivating contemporary college students’ sense of social responsibility has an unignorable status and meaning in contemporary college education. A strong sense of social responsibility is not only a key factor in the growth of college students, and a main component in building socialist harmonious society, but also a necessary demand for nation progress,society development and college students’ ideological and political education. Otherwise, strengthening the cultivation of college students’ sense of social responsibility benefits their own growth, it also make for cultivating college students’ sense of patriotism, ideas of overall situation, and sense of responsibility. Meanwhile, strengthening those cultivations does good to harmonious society, prosperous and powerful country, and national rejuvenation.In real life, the majority college students are full of responsibility, they can keep the homeland in their mind and devote themselves to struggle for motherland and serve the people, these college students show the positive elegant demeanor of contemporary college students. While, some college students generally present a trend of wakening social responsibility sense. They choose own benefit first rather than consider the overall situation.This paper analyzes the reasons of weakening and the factors influencing the formality and development of college students’ social responsibilities. With a comprehensive analysis of college students’ social responsibility, the conclusions are as follows : The factors influencing development of college students’ social responsibilities are bad social environment including negative effects of market economy, the spiritual impacts of network age, the impacts of western culture; deficiency of educational guidance including the education at home and in campus; the self-restraint impacts.This paper both theoretically and practically elaborates the specific methods and ways of cultivating college students’ social responsibilities. Theoretically, it covers three aspects, Max theory on nurturing college students’ social responsibilities, inherit and spread the essence of ancient Chinese civilization, practice socialist core values. Through building a favorable environment for the cultivation of social responsibility to further promote the training system in tertiary education, it can guide the college students to fully play their role so as to nurture college students’ social responsibilities.Moreover, from the perspective of our country, society, family and ourselves, this thesis attaches great importance on cultivating the social responsibility of the college students by spreading Chinese excellent traditional culture and four aspects that motivate the subjective consciousness of the college students. The four aspects are as follows: encouraging college students to establish a firm Marxism belief; guiding them to be ambitious with the cooperation of the society, network, college as well as family; cultivating college students’ patriotism and spirit of the time; strengthening self-education and self-criticism of the college students. On the basis of scholars’ researches on the influencing factors of the outside cultivating environment, this thesis highlights the importance of guiding the college students to fully make use of their own subjective consciousness and comes up with some detailed solutions, which shows a deeper research level.Through this research, the cultivation of college students’ social responsibility has become more efficient. At the same time, a model of talent cultivation characterized by political integrity, professional competence and development in and all-around way has been realized. Consequently, a large number of college students with strong social responsibility will be cultivated to make contributions to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
