The twenty-first Century is the era of economic globalization,the new talents with the consciousness of cooperation and innovation will be needed. Comply with the requirements of the times,the eighth elementary education reform will make“autonomy,cooperation, explore”as the high light of the reform. Cooperative learning is one of the new teaching method which was advocated by new teaching reform.Cooperative learning can help to cultivate the students’ cooperative consciousness,to arouse students’ learning motivation, and to generate the ability of collaboration and communication.It can also improve the classroom efficiency and the teaching quality.Thus it is imperative to take the application of Cooperative Learning into the Ideology and Politics course.This paper adopts the research method which is combined the literature review and the case study.based on the representative domestic and foreign literatures,the author has made the definition of the connotation of cooperative learning and Cooperative Learning in Ideology and Politics course.And the author also made a comprehensive study of the characteristics and the diversified forms about the Cooperative Learning in Ideology and Politics course.This paper expounds the feasibility of the implementation of the Cooperative Learning in Ideology and Politics course from complying with the requirements of the new curriculum reform,promoting the comprehensive development of students,strengthening the effectiveness of Ideology and Politics course and generating the students’ ability of competition and cooperation. This paper also expounds the necessity of the implementation of the Cooperative Learning in Ideology and Politics course from the Ideology and Politics course standards,teaching contents and the characteristics of high school.discusses the implementation strategies of the Cooperative Learning in Ideology and Politics Course combined with the characteristics of the Ideology and Politics course.following the implementation principles of Cooperative Learning in Ideology and Politics course, clearing the learning goals,constructing the mode of cooperation,establishing the cooperation situation, classifying the phases of implementation and regulating and evaluating learning outcomes.the author combines with the above heory study, learns from some successful case teaching,and selects an example to specify the application of cooperative learning education and learning method in Ideology and Politics course.This paper focused on the study of cooperative learning from the view of Ideology and Politics course, and detailed explained the related theories mentioned by the author using specific topic as an example. The paper contributes positive and practical significance to the application of cooperative learning in the ideological and political disciplines expansion, and it also provides certain value of reference concerning about teaching practice of Ideology and Politics course.
