Study On Education Fairness And Its Performance

With the realization of China’s economic growth, improvement of living standards, and the achievement of overall well-off society, in this process, the growing importance of social justice is highlighted. The most critical aspect of a fair society is fair education. Educational equity has a huge role in promoting both the economic growth and social development.Based on the literature review of educational theory of equitable education and its performance, with the need of the reality, we use data to analysis its important role in this stage. This paper selects several educational equity perspectives, including urban and rural education unfair, geographic education unfair, class education unfair, education stage unfair as four main areas. Analysis found that, although China’s government education expenditure growth, occupy than also increased, but the unfairness of education still exists, is still a large gap between urban and rural educational resources, the average years of schooling are not equal, the basic education investment ratio declined, the inequality of educational opportunity by each class children.On this basis, we further investigate important impact on economic growth, economic development, and social development, And use econometric methods to study relationship between education and economic growth. According to the theory and the actual situation, this paper established four models, to study the impact of different education levels to economic growth, and the impact of education fair on economic growth, from year 1997 to 2011, across 30 regions, and further divided East Middle and West. The results show that education to have a significant role in promoting economic growth and social development, and education fair helps promote the role of education to economic growth, which has the same impact on the promotion of the role of the East Middle and West.Accordingly, the paper raised five policy proposals, to promote the education fair promotion, including increasing education expenditure, a reasonable allocation of educational resources, enhance the security, fairness in education appropriate to the vulnerable groups, and introduced into the education market forces.
