Teachers’ professional ability is the core of the teachers qualified professional accomplishment. In February 2012, the ministry of education issued "the middle school teachers’ professional standards", "professional ability" dimension of the standard basic ability includes teachers need. Use less of it, however, are mostly policy interpretation. Therefore, this research will be compiled questionnaires as part of "professional ability", to investigate in chongqing district middle school teachers’ professional ability development present situation and the differences of different teacher groups.This article will put forward some countermeasures and Suggestions to solve the problem of the study found.The results of the survey are as follows :(1)The whole situation of middle school teachers’ professional ability development of normally distributed. Their average score of 3.74, is greater than the average 3 scale theory.They scored the highest in "teaching" part, in "reflection and development" scored lowest.(2)Their score in 26 indicators, there are 17 average out, the remaining 9 did not meet. But their actual average score were higher than theory. Their highest score is "effective regulation of the teaching process, reasonable processing happenstance class", They scored lowest is "to develop professional development plan, to actively take part in professional training, constantly improve their professional quality".(3)Different groups of teachers only significant differences in the reflection and development section, there is no difference in other parts.This study found that secondary school teachers’ professional ability to conform to the requirements of the standard, more balanced development; Professional ability increases with the increase of teaching age increase, to adapt to the stage to the peak period of growth stage of growth. The following problems:(1) grasp of the teaching goal is weak;(2)the modern education technology application ability;(3) less special moral education activities;(4) the students evaluation way is single;(5)less communication with parents, colleagues, the community;(6) reflection and development ability is low.In view of the problems found, this paper puts forward the following countermeasures: one is the education administrative departments at all levels to carry out the hierarchical teacher training, attach importance to "reflect on and developing" ability training, focus on rural teachers and rural areas; Second, the training institutions to strengthen students grasp teaching objects, the cultivation of the moral education method, reflection and development ability; Three is the school teachers create communication channels, fight for good education technology platform, advocating developmental evaluation, take the initiative to establish contact with the college; Fourth, teachers set up the consciousness, reflection and development to develop the professional development planning, seize the key to the development of times.
