Rock climbing has been popular among most teenagers since it is introduced in China since 1987, especially the characteristics of the adventure, excitement and challenging the limit make it be admired by college students.Rock climbing is a new sports derived from the mountaineering. It not only shows the picture of strength and beauty to people but also organically combines physical education with moral education, common sense with change and individual with group.Therefore, rock climbing has a positive effect for contemporary college students both in physiology and psychology.At present the research about the value of rock climbing in domestic mainly stop at the point that most colleges and universities introduce it to the physical education curriculum.However, there is rarely related researches about its value to mental health.So, this article through investigation and experiments will analysis the influence of rock climbing to resist frustration on college students.Using the literature material law, questionnaire survey method, experimental method, comparative method, mathematical statistics and other research methods, this paper researches the influence of rock climbing on impairing the frustration tolerance of college students, taking 30 students choosing the rock climbing and 30 students choosing the basketball in Southwest Jiaotong University as investigation object.The result shows that:rock climbing plays a unique and significant role in enhancing and improving frustration tolerance of college students. After a phase of learning, the 30 students’cores choosing rock climbing increase significantly (P<0.01). What’s more, it obviously improves the level of operational effectiveness. Besides the two groups have great distinguish in the aspects of cognitive level and competency (P<0.01)...
