Study On Effectiveness Of Preschool Textbook Compilation

Preschool textbook, as teachers’reference book, assists educational practice activities, providing educational resources and suggestions for teachers to guide children’s learning, including texts and supporting materials, etc.. The effective compilation of preschool textbook is the quality assurance, and is the premise to play its multiple functions. Focusing on the effective dimensions of compilation, this study tries to refine the information involved in the evaluation opinions to preschool textbook of different compilers, to explore the importance of each dimension and its sub dimensions or indexes, and to discuss the effective compilation process of preschool textbook on this basis. This study aims to review effectiveness of preschool textbook compilation from the evaluation opinions, to construct the theoretical framework about the guidance of preschool textbook effective compilation, and to provide suggestions for the preschool teachers using textbooks effectively.With incorporation of those quantitative and qualitative research methods, this study grasps the evaluation opinions comprehensively, based on the textbook usage survey, the text and opinions analysis, and the interview to compilers. This study mainly from inducting issues about effectiveness of preschool textbook compilation from empirical data, and try to construct the effectiveness dimension model of compilation:positioning textbook from the perspective of value, grasp the content attribute; organizing textbook from the perspective of logical consistency, achieve the structure attribute; present textbook from a practical perspective, ensure the teaching attribute. Finally, based on the research, a few suggestions aimed at how to compile and use the preschool textbook effectively.
