In the context of the new curriculum, chemistry history education to improve students’scientific literacy, humanistic quality education has been paid more and more attention.Papers on domestic chemistry history education of chemistry history in chemistry textbookscontent and research status were analyzed and summarized, analysis of the current domesticchemical history education and teaching material content of chemistry history.The theory basis of the paper is the constructivist learning theory, learning theory,science education, HPS education and teaching of chemistry history in content comparisonmodel construction of relevant content, related to the research methods including theoryanalysis, literature analysis and comparative analysis.Firstly, the education of chemistry history in the content of the elements were analyzed,including the history of chemistry characters, chemists growth background, researchbackground, research experience, the conclusion of the study, research chemist in cooperativeresearch, research the existence in the process of scientific debate, historical contribution andimportant application, some research and conclusion of limitations, some research andconclusion brings negative effect, chemical research award; also the education of chemistryhistory content presentation were analyzed, including knowledge representation approach,readings, and contents of other subjects cross permeating way, marginal notes or a footnotemode, practice mode, consideration or discussion way.On this foundation, the present high school chemistry textbooks of People’s EducationPress, Shandong Science and Technology Press, Jiangsu Education Press and AmericanChemistry Textbooks "Chemistry Concepts and Applications" were compared and analyzedin history of chemistry content, including the three domestic high school chemistry textbookin the history of chemistry content nature and elements, forms of presenting features, andmainstream American Chemistry Textbooks in the history of chemistry content present onrevelation. Finally, compiling suggestions to the national high school chemistry historycontent in chemistry textbooks is showed.
