Woodcut new year painting of Liangping is the China intangible cultural heritage.Introducing the woodcut new year painting of Liangping into local art class would benefit for cultivating the students’ aesthetic appreciation, improving their cognition of traditional culture, and inheriting the local intangible cultural heritage. This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is the research of compilation style of textbook.The second part is the interview of Liu Yong the inheritor of the woodcut new year painting of Liangping as intangible cultural heritage. Through his understanding of the woodcut new year painting of Liangping as the curriculum resource, find out the curriculum content that suit for the high school students. By discussing the curriculum design, draft out the framework and finally compiling the textbook. The third part is form the complete textbook content by considering the students’ and teachers’ feedback.The innovation of the study is take fully use of the Liangping’s local art resources,to stretch the curriculum content of the local high school’s art class. Compiling the textbook by aiming at the high school students’ cognition and development features, and find out the compiling ideas and style that suit for the high school student.
