By studying the origin of human’s drama and the postmodern theatre form,the author pointed out that the drama was focus on the human and interaction,which is the basis of the educational drama. And then the author analyzed which is Creative Drama,Drama in Education and Drama in Theatre,summarized its characteristics,found educational drama is process-oriented,focusing on equal dialogue,and emphasizing on participation,which reflect the embodied exist.All this provided a new perspective for practice of educational drama in kindergarten.In this study,educational drama focuses on children’s game’s essence,the body and improvisational self-expression,a guider led the children to create their own drama through body voice,language and other physical resources around certain themes which reflect their own unique experience,that is what different from children’s spontaneous role pay and story performances.The author cooperated with a teacher in a kindergarten to explore the activities,further analyzed the existence of children and teacher.In the last part, the author pointed out the problem and recommendations.The aim of this study was to provide a new perspective and practical reference to kindergarten.
