Since the new curriculum reform, classroom teaching reform of our country’s attention from teachers to students,the thinking process of students’ initiative, autonomy and student learning has been hitherto unknown attention. The new curriculum reform in the implementation of student achievements, but in the reform of teaching mode and evaluation problems. Curriculum reform has been ten years, lot of teachers just stay in the new curriculum of understanding, how to implement evaluation still exist many problems, teaching model is a bridge to link the curriculum reform and teaching practice, has positive significance for promoting the education mode of curriculum reform.Using the study methods case studies, literature analysis, questionnaire, observation and research methods, the thesis studies the phenomenon of "less teaching and more learning. It proves that "less teaching and more learning" has a strong vitality teaching ideas, which reflects the deep relationship between educating and learning. Meanwhile it exactly shows the basic trend of the current education reform and development.Based on the principles of humanistic theory, construction learning theory, meta-cognitive theory,interaction between internal and external causes, learning to "less teaching and more learning," the ideological content of the guiding ideology of the pyramid theory, integrated elements of composition, the implementation process has been systematically expounded. Different strategies were adopted flexibly to design the different chemistry lectures.In Shenzhou city middle school, more than 1,900 teachers and students in senior 1 were chosen as participants and the study lasts for a semester. The result is that, by building a "less teaching and more learning" classroom model, it greatly improves the students’ interest in high school chemistry, also it has an increase in their classroom participation, a corresponding increase in students ’self-learning ability, cooperative learning, experiment exploring ability. What’s more, it enhances the students’ sense of innovation in the classroom. It actually implements the dominant position of students and achieves a new curriculum standards for "autonomy, cooperation, and explore" requirements, which contributes to achieve the three goals of teaching. The method effectively improves the efficiency of classroom teaching.Therefore, the application of classroom teaching and practice of "less teaching and more learning" foster students’ ability to learn, self-thinking, cooperative learning, innovation and it has a positive effect. It provides a theoretical and practical basis for teaching high school chemistry under the new curriculum ideas.
