With the issue of the English Curriculum Standard of Urdinary High School(experimantal draft) by our country’s Ministry of Education.The English Curriculum objectives are emphasized once again.Especially,comprehensive humanities accomplishment, which helps students develop the correct outlooks on the world, life and values and so on, should be improved through three aspects,that is, knowledge and skills;process and method;affection and values. The present writer choose"The Research on Realization of the Emotion-Attitude-Value Curriculum Objectives in the Senior School English Teaching" as the topic,which is of realistic meaning.The topic is based on the affection and values in the English Curriculum objectives.This reasearch mainly uses the questionnaire method and interview method Through questionnaire analysis on the part of Senior high school English teachers and students in Xingtai,Hebei Province,aiming to research and analyse the present situation and problem in the realization of the Emotion-Attitude-Value Curriculum Objectives in the Senior School English Teaching and explore the method to improve the situation,where people only attach importance to knowledge teaching and ignore the development of the affection and values. Thus let students not only obtain the basic knowledge and skills but also learn how to study as well as develop the proper values.This thesis consists of six parts.In the first part, introduction. Introduces the reasons and significance of selecting the topic, the relative research,the puspose and content, the thought and method and the new ideas for the research.In the second part, introduce relative theory. First,delimit the relative concept and then outline the composition and content of the the Emotion-Attitude-Value Curriculum Objectives in the Senior School English Teaching.In the third part, the present investigation and result analyses of the Emotion-Attitude-Value Curriculum Objectives in the Senior School English Teaching implement. There is a plan for the research which mainly investigates some of theSenior high school teachers and students in Xingtai,He bei Province. The questionnaire analysis aims to research and analyse the present situation and problems.In the forth part, analyse the problems and the reasons in the realization of the objectives. The present problems lie in three aspects:the first one is that the objectives aren’t realized; the second is that the teachers haven’t attached the importance to the realization of the objectives; the third is that teachers have taken a one-sided approach to the problems.The reasons which cause the situation are the teachers’comprehensive disposition,the pressure from taking university entrance examination, the restrictions on evaluation system and the leaders’teaching conception.In the fifth part, put forward the measures to realize the objectives, which come from three aspects,that is, the development of teachers’disposion that includes three parts:first of all, improve the teachers’specialized knowledge to catch up with the pace of the objectives, which include establishing democratic、equal and harmonious relationship between teachers and students as well as exploiting the affection elements in the teaching materials to cultivate the students’positive affection and values. Second, perfect the pluralistic evaluation system to strengthen the realization of the objective, which can be realized through respecting individual differences of the students,paying attention to the procession and pluralistic evaluation.Third, create a good atmosphere to ensure the realization of the objectives,where the suppor of leader,family and the campus culture is needed.In the sixth part, conclusion. Summarize the results and the points of improvement,which will contribute to the future teaching.
