| Today English, as one of the most widely used language in the world, which is playing an increasingly important role in international communication and technology, cultural exchange. In 2011, the documents issued by China’s Ministry of Education pointed out: Starting English Curriculum in elementary education stage will lay the foundation to improve our overall national quality, to cultivate talents with innovative ability and cross-cultural communication ability.Since the autumn of 2001, our country has put English learning from junior middle school stage forward in the primary school stage. The cities and counties all over the country started English learning from the third grade in primary school, and some areas with qualified conditions even bring it ahead to the first grade. However, the effects of English teaching in primary school are not ideal, which met a lot of difficulties. So what make the unsatisfactory result? Bring the question,I start my research.Firstly, the author gives the theoretical description and analysis on primary school English Game Teaching Methods and interprets the related concepts. And on the basis,I used the documentary method, questionnaire method, interview method and classroom observationBased on the investigation, there are some problems with games teaching method in English class: First, the game designs not scientific, which is not consistent with the student’s language level; second, in the process of the game teaching, classroom discipline is easily confused; third, English game teaching resources are relatively scarce.Through the data analysis, the author found that the above problems are mainly caused by the followings: First, teachers’ own quality restricted the effective implementation of game teaching, before the new curriculum, most teachers often used teaching methods, which subjected a certain impact; secondly, there are many students in classes and games are cooperative education teaching, teachers can not take care of all students all the time, and therefore in the implementation, the class is often out of order; third, the shortage of the school’s multimedia resources is a key factor, which lead the shortage of the game material.Finally, Based on the investigation and Analysis on the current situation of primary school English, combining with the subject characteristics and the results of the survey the author pointed out that primary school English game teaching principles: namely target, interest, life-oriented principle; And as to the implementation of the English game teaching in primary school the author put forward the following strategy: first, scientific English teaching game design; second, strengthening classroom management and maintaining the effective classroom discipline; third, the English game reflecting the diversity and innovation. |
