Now humans have entered into the digital age from the industrial age, the digital technology affect on education which has become the focus of the world.The digital technology has improved the learning environment, enriched channels of knowledge, changed people’s learning concepts and styles. At the same time, The digital age requires the people who have the innovation ability, can obtain information timely and adapt to the rapidly changing living environment, under the digital technology, the teacher is the key to achieve the goal of education. The teachers need to re-examine their own roles, the traditional roles don’t adapt to the digital age which will be deconstructed, teachers’ roles transformation means the true function of teachers will be more prominent.So compared with the teachers’ roles under the traditional teaching environment, What’s the difference under the digital teaching environment ? What are the dilemmas in role changing process? What is the underlying reason of the dilemmas? Thinking about these issues is the starting point to this research. Based on the literature search, we firstly elaborate the connotation of teachers’ new roles, then with the help of questionnaire survey method,interview method and product analysis method, investigate the status and dilemmas of teachers roles change in a digital setting, analyze the underlying reasons of teachers roles change dilemmas, put forward relevant thinking, suggestions and epilogue in the end. The main text specifically divides into six parts:The first part is the introduction. It introduces the origin and significance of the research, combines the related literature, defines the correlation concepts, explains the research methods. The second part is the background of the research and theoretical basis, expound teachers roles connotation under the traditional and digitization media technology, construct the theory frame. The third part is research design and implementation, including research objectives, data collection and analysis, research objects and sample selection, the research advantages and limitations. The fourth part is the results and analysis, through analyzing the survey data, the current primary and secondary school teachers have the conceptions of digital teachers roles,but the understanding is not comprehensive and deep. The teachers’ roles behaviors can’t keep up with the transformation of roles conceptions. The dilemmas factors of the teachers roles change include the technology, the ability and the environment. The underlying reasons are teachers’ roles change lack of systems engineering of the social foundation, the Path-Dependence of the traditional education. The fifth part is the reflection and recommendations. Based on the conclusion above, put forward relevant thinking and suggestions about the teachers’ roles transformation dilemmas under the digitization. Firstly, build lifelong learning culture, create teachers roles change environment. Secondly, deepen the all-around educational reform, abolish the drawbacks of exam-oriented education. Thirdly, build the digital learning platform, help teachers get rid of the traditional roles conceptions. Fourthly, launch a school-based training in information technology, guide the technical training with a new concept. The last is the epilogue, put forward the problems which still need to think and explore in the future.
