As the new round of basic education reform starts, people have paid more and more attention to the development and utilization of curriculum resources. Local history curriculum resources is an important part of the history curriculum resources, It has important significance to the curriculum reform.In The Full-time Historical Course Standard of the Compulsory Education, it also clearly mentioned to make full use of the local materials and community curriculum resources. Although there is abundant local history curriculum resources in the Handan(the capital of the state of Zhao in the Warring States Period), the utilization of the local history resources in the junior middle school does not look very well. This paper mainly discusses how to use the local history curriculum resources of Handan in junior middle school, thus to promote the in-depth study of the history curriculum resources.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction part, elaborating on the origin,the current research status,the research thinking,methods and the innovative points. Then the first chapter mainly defines the concept of " junior middle school local history curriculum resources" and analyses the significance of using local history curriculum resources in teaching,i.e.,help to stimulate students’ interest in learning history and cultivate their patriotic feelings; contribute to the history teachers ’ professional development, and contribute to inherit and promote the local history and culture.The second chapter mainly introduces the classification of resources of Zhao local history curriculum, which are divided into physical resources, literature resources, intangible cultural resources and film,internet resources. Chapter three investigates the current utilization of the local history curriculum resources in Zhao local history by using the questionnaire and interview methods, finds out the existing problems among them, analyzes the causes, and puts forward corresponding solutions.The fourth chapter explores the use of Zhao local history curriculum resources teaching practice in junior middle school, and puts forwards the reflection, that is to properly handle the relationship between local history resources and junior middle school history books, junior middle school history classroom teaching and extracurricular activities.
